Coca-Cola

The Coca-Cola beverage was invented on 8 May 1886 by pharmacist John Smith Pemberton in Atlanta, GA.

Today, no one really remembers when Dr. Pemberton’s syrup was first mixed with sparkling water, but the new soft drink was found to be both delicious and refreshing.

While John Pemberton was the inventor of the Coca-Cola formula (which has become one of the best kept trade secrets of all times and nations), the name of the drink was offered by Frank Robinson, a partner and the accountant at the same pharmacy. Mr. Robinson decided that two letters “C” would look nice together and wrote the Coca-Cola logo down in his own hand
